As the district prepares to welcome students back for another exciting school year, the SBISD Transportation team has completed a comprehensive review and update of all student bus routes.

This review is part of the district’s ongoing commitment to student safety, service efficiency, and effective resource management.

Families can expect updates to bus routes, stop locations, and pick-up/drop-off schedules for the 2025–2026 academic year. These updates were made to streamline transportation services and improve the experience for students and families alike.

“We understand changes to transportation routines can be an adjustment,” said Wendy Hebert, SBISD Transportation Director. “Our goal is to ensure every student gets to and from school safely, efficiently, and on time. We appreciate the continued support and understanding from our families as we implement these improvements.”

Families are encouraged to check their students' updated route information using the Bus Route Finder and contact the SBISD Transportation Routing Department at 713-251-1077 with any questions or concerns.
